Mike Watts re-joined Hologic in his current role in December of 2024. He has mainly led Investor Relations and Corporate Communications over his 18-year career with the Company and with Gen-Probe, which Hologic acquired in 2012. Mr. Watts also has served as Vice President and General Manager of Acquired Businesses, overseeing a portfolio of assets in transplant diagnostics, infectious disease testing, prostate cancer diagnostics, pharmaceutical services, and agricultural biotech. Before that, he was Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Gen-Probe. Earlier in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility in strategy, finance and communications at Baxter, Ligand and Merck. He has a BS from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
